Our first MedEd 4 Everyone event in May this year was a huge success and we are thrilled to announce our next public nutritional medicine education lecture - Digestive Wellness - will be held on Saturday 14 October in Melbourne!

Come along and hear from leading nutritional medicine experts as they discuss the connection between diet and nutrition and its impact on the health of your gut and general wellbeing. After each speaker, there will be time for questions from the audience.

MedEd 4 Everyone | Digestive Wellness will feature 4 speakers:

Dr Elsa Gladigau - practising GP with a special interest in nutritional and environmental medicine will introduce you to the Gut Microbiome and the important role it plays in your health

Emma Park – educator, Holistic Nutritionist and industry leader in the field of Gut Health will discuss fermented and functional foods for Gastrointestinal Health

Britt Gardner – accredited Dietitian and Nutritionist will talk you through how to read food labels with confidence so you can make informed choices in the supermarket and in restaurants

Dr Fiona Enkelmann – experienced Holistic GP will look at a practical approach to digestive health from a integrative medical perspective

The MC for the afternoon will be Dr Christabelle Yeoh. Christabelle is the President of ACNEM, and has been working in integrative medicine for many years. She has a strong clinical interest in neurological, gastrointestinal and metabolic health and is passionate about the connections between human metabolism, biology and behaviour.
