NHAA Discussion Forum

The NHAA Discussion Forum is a free service offered to our Members. It is web-based, which means you can log on and check the discussions any time you want.

It is a great way to discuss clinical or other topics related to herbal medicine, swap ideas, and draw on the collective expertise of a large body of herbalists.

The Discussion Forum is also the place to keep up to date with happenings in the profession and the industry.

Who Can Participate?

All Members of the NHAA can participate. Different levels of membership entitle you to participate in different ways - for instance Student Members can read but not post in the Clinical Forum, but Full Members can't read or post in the Student Lounge.

How Do I Join?

To sign up to the Discussion Forum, simply fill out and submit our online form. We will take care of the rest. You will receive email notification of your registration and user group allocation.

How Does It Work?

After signing up, you receive an email confirming your signup to which you need to reply to complete the process. The NHAA Administrator will assign you to the relevant groups (eg. Full Members, Students Members), which will then allow you access to the relevant areas.

How Do I Access the Discussion Forum?

Go to the discussion forum and bookmark it for future reference. Once the page has opened enter your user name (your first name and surname, properly capitalised) and the password you provided on joining to be able to participate.

Does it Cost Anything?

No - this is an completely FREE service provided by the NHAA to our Members.

Rules and Etiquette

  • No derogatory, defamatory, or abusive language can be used.

  • Please stick to the spirit of each forum area. For instance, if your discussion concerns ethics you should post it in the "History, Philosophy & Ethics" forum, rather than the "Clinical Discussions" or Full Members Lounge.

  • Ensure that your communications in the professional discussion areas remain both on topic and professional. For general and off-topic conversations, use the Student or Full Member Lounges.

  • Private communications can be conducted off-forum, even if the communication commenced through the Discussion Board. You can use the private email facility built into the Discussion Board for this purpose.

  • The list is a administrator-managed, subscription-only list, and is only open to NHAA Members and specially invited guests. It is not open to the general public.
