Position Vacant: Health Fund Compliance Officer at the NHAA

Responsible for liaising with and updating compliance requirements as required by the health funds, managing health fund audits, assisting with the negotiation of new health fund contracts, updating and maintaining the Association database with any member insurance, first aid certificate and clinic changes and liaising and assisting members as required, the NHAA is currently seeking an appropriate individual to fill the position of Health Fund Compliance Officer on a part time basis to a maximum of 24 hours per week.

 The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years experience in a compliance position preferably dealing with health funds in the not-for-profit industry;
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft products with a particular emphasis on Access;
  • High-level oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and team work skills and a collaborative work style.

Knowledge of herbal medicine, naturopathy and the complementary medicine industry is essential and the profession’s education and qualification standards as they relate to health funds desirable.

The successful candidate will be offered an initial 12 month contract following which they will assist the Association to transition to a more efficient database management system (CRM) simultaneously broadening their role within the Association.
