With a deep respect for treating within an holistic framework that focuses on all levels – the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual – and seeing each client as an individual made up of unique form and function, Rebecca utilises Naturopathic Medicine to support your body’s innate, natural ability to heal itself. Blending clinically relevant evidence-based practice with the philosophy of centuries-old traditional natural medicine, she can identify and manage the core causes of disruption and dysfunction which will help you achieve deep, long-lasting healing. She recognises the value and long-term effects that can come when you have a thorough understanding of how your body operates and how to listen to what it needs, and will work to empower you toward this deeper sense of self. While Rebecca loves working with varying conditions, she is especially interested in helping women identify and rectify hormonal dysfunction which may be contributing to disorders such as PMS, poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, fibroids or fertility complications, while working to manage menstrual symptoms such as pain, acne, weightloss/gain, heavy, absent or irregular periods. She also enjoys improving mental and emotional wellbeing that can be affected by depression, anxiety, chronic stress, panic attacks and other neurological issues, fatigue, insomnia, immune disorders and chronic conditions. Rebecca has been awarded a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy), a Certificate IV in Kinesiology, and is an accredited practitioner with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). She is passionate about herbal medicine, and is looking forward to continuing her education with a Masters in Chinese Herbal Medicine with RMIT in 2016.
