TGA Recall - Ausganica Soothing Herbs Toothpaste

The TGA recently published information about Ausganica Soothing Herbs Toothpaste.

“Consumers and health professionals are advised that Trueway International, in consultation with the TGA, is recalling all batches of Ausganica Soothing Herbs Toothpaste 130g. This product is also being withdrawn from the Australian market and will no longer be available.

Upcoming Annual General Meeting

Notice is given that the Annual General Meeting of members of National Herbalists Association of Australia trading as Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (Company) will be held on Wednesday, 18 October 2017 at 7:30pm (AEST). The AGM will be conducted online via a webinar to allow more members to participate - details to access the meeting will be available closer to the date.

Position Vacant: Financial Accountant

Responsible for the full month end process, preparation of financial profit and loss analysis, general business financial analysis, management reporting, contribution to board reporting, taxation compliance, preparing the budget with the assistance of the EO, involve in year-end tax returns and audits and overseeing payroll processing, the NHAA is currently seeking an appropriate individual to fill the position of Financial Accountant on a part time basis for 3 days per week for the first 3 months reducing to a maximum of 15 hours per week thereafter.

New Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner

The office of the Health Complaints Commissioner (HCC) has now replaced the office of the Health Services Commissioner. This is the culmination of many years work reviewing Victoria’s health complaints framework and developing new legislation, the Health Complaints Act 2016 (Vic), to meet the challenges presented by modern healthcare.
