The Australian Health Ministers Advisory Council (AHMAC) sought feedback on the terms of a national Code of Conduct for health care workers.
The Committee on the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) called for submissions addressing their enquiry into the promotion of false or misleading health-related information or practices.

As part of a review of the Complementary & Alternative Health (CAH) qualifications in the Health Training Package (HLT07), the Community Services & Health Industry Skills Council (CSHISC) asked for feedback on qualification alignment.

TGA proposal to amend regulations on advertising therapeutic goods to the general public. This could also affect other health professionals, including naturopaths and herbalists. The consultation documents can be found at www.tga.gov.au/newsroom/consult-advertising-ris-130531.htm. Concerns regarding this proposal relate to Point 7 (pg 28) Advertising directed to health professionals and Proposal 6 (pg 42) which relates to this. Also Proposal 5, which relates to Advertising of higher risk medical devices. The NHAA and indivdual members put it submissions on this consultation.
