Caruso’s Natural Health Pty Ltd Supplement Recall 💊

On the 10th December 2024, the Australian Government’s Therapeutic Goods Administration
(TGA) published a formal recall on three supplement products produced and distributed by
Caruso’s Natural Health Pty Ltd. These are:

  1. ‘Wee Less’:
Batch: Q01661 Expiry date: September 2027 ARTG: 454848
  2. ‘Bloat Eze’
    Batches: Q01516, Q01518 Expiry Date: May 2027 ARTG: 408956
  3. ‘Ashwagandha 7500’
Batch Q01687 Expiry date: September 2027 ARTG: 406701

What is the problem?

The TGA has stated that tampering of these products is suspected due to capsules and
tablets significantly differing in appearance to the standard being found in product
containers. The suspected tampering could have occurred in either the manufacture,
processing or packaging of these products. This recall only applies to the batch numbers
specified.

Are there any risks?

The TGA has stated that risks are unknown due to the composition of the suspect capsules
and tablets having not yet been determined. From the TGA’s preliminary investigation, it
appears that the suspect tablets and capsules may contain cocoa powder and probiotics
which do not pose a risk to most people.

However, as the potential for the suspect capsules and tablets to cause harm cannot be
eliminated as yet, Caruso’s Natural Health Pty Ltd have decided to recall the affected
batches and are currently investigating the issue.

If you have recommended these products or know of anyone taking them, please inform
consumers to cease usage and return the products to the place of purchase for a refund.
Alternatively, they can call the Caruso’s customer support staff on 1300 695 088. Don’t
hesitate to refer consumers to a medical doctor if you have concerns.
