Call for Abstracts

The NHAA program committee invites submissions of abstracts for presentation at the NHAA Naturopathic Symposium 2025 – Shaping the Future of Health. The Symposium will be held on May 3-4 at the Sydney Masonic Centre, Sydney.

This years theme ‘Shaping the Future of Health’ bridges the rich heritage and history of our professions with the innovations of the future. What will health and wellbeing in our professions look like tomorrow and beyond?

There are five sub-themes – Clinical Insights, Business and Practice Insights, Environmental Health and Sustainability, Research, Public Health & Policy.

Our three presentation categories are – Oral Presentation, Poster Presentation, Interactive Workshop

How to Submit

Step 1 – Please carefully review the Abstract Submission Guidelines document prior to submitting Here you’ll find more information and important terms and conditions of submission.

Step 2 – Prepare your abstract as per the requirements in the Abstract Guidelines for your preferred category

Step 3 – Submit your abstract using the button below. We are using EasyChair as our abstract submission platform. You will be required to create an account prior to submitting.


KEY DATES

Abstract submissions open – 9:00am – Monday 2 September, 2024

Abstract submissions close – 5:00pm – Monday 28 October, 2024 – No extension past this date

Notification to authors – 16 December, 2024

Draft program released – 13 January, 2025

All presenters to be registered by 11 February, 2025

Notification of Acceptance – Abstracts will ONLY be accepted via the above link. No exceptions. The Symposium Event Manager will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received via the above link or for submission errors caused by internet service outages, hardware or software delays, power outages or unforeseen events.

Reviewers – Submissions will be ‘blinded’ to the reviewers. Reviewers will not be able to see the authors or affiliations. Do not include your name or any information that will obviously identify you to the reviewers into your abstract. Failure to observe this condition will result in your abstract not being included in the judging process for the symposium.
