Contract basis – Monday-Thursday with probationary period
Remuneration: 30hours p/w $735 with option to become full time after probation
Must have qualifications in and or currently obtaining qualifications in the field of Nutrition, Herbalism and or Naturopathy. Any formal training in epigenetics, and or nutrigenomics is also an advantage.
Must provide your own ABN and applicable insurances including workers compensation and health worker insurances.

The Right Fit:
The applicant should have keen interest in natural health sciences having obtained at least minimal exposure to base level training in the natural health sciences, possess a keen ability to learn and a strong interest in learning and operating a natural health business and clinic environment.

The position description
- As a clinic assistant / trainee you be fulfilling all the duties involved in running a natural health business as directed by our team leaders
- Fulfilling daily duties of a natural health practice providing services such as naturopathic, nutrition, herbalism, homeopathic including prescribing laboratory tests, nutritional supplements, herbs and or homeopathic remedies
- Taking, fulfilling, packing incoming orders, including daily postage both locally and overseas
- Using online applications including but not limited to WordPress, email, spreadsheets, word documents, Microsoft products etc
- Prescribing health protocols to patients including precise written instructions
- Maintaining and updating patient files
- Dispensing herbs, supplements, homeopathic remedies
- Managing stock levels and ordering systems to ensure flow of distribution including receiving and restocking
- Customer service via email, phone and in person (email handling)
- Consulting with patients over media such as phone consultations and skype consultations
- Conducting research into the ongoing health issues including genetics as required
- Learning and training duties
- Test results and genetics interpretation and presentation to patients
- Attending to studies/training as directed
- Planning, conducting, presenting education seminars/webinars on natural health topics
- Personal assistant duties for the director
- Some travel and presenting to public groups also required
- Assisting in growing the business
- Selling consultations, supplements, herbals, tests etc
- Ability to work alone and or unsupervised were appropriate is a must
