The NHHA, as part of the Australian Naturopathic Council (ANC) collaboration, finalised their 2022-2023 Pre-Budget Submission to represent the naturopathic community in Australia. The submission contained 2 recommendations for consideration as a funding priority for Naturopaths and Herbalists.
• Recommendation 1: Reinstate subsidy of private health insurance rebates for consultations with a qualified naturopath.
• Recommendation 2: $5 million in targeted funding for naturopathic research through the Medical Research Future Fund.
