The Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) welcomes the reappointment of Mark Butler as Health Minister and also responsibility for the NDIS.
Minister Butler has worked hard to improve healthcare for the Australian community.
During his previous term, Minister Butler announced the long-anticipated reinstatement of private health insurance benefits for naturopathy and Western herbal medicine.
The Minister released the Natural Therapies Review Expert Advisory Panel’s report and findings that naturopathy and Western herbal medicine are clinically effective treatments.
“We look forward to the Minister signing off on the necessary regulations to cement the return of private health insurance rebates for our patients of
naturopaths, Western herbal medicine and other impacted treatments,” explains President, Hannah Boyd.
The NHAA enjoys a productive relationship with Minister Butler and his office.
