The Healthy Climate prescription was an urgent call from the global health community to national governments around the world to take all necessary action to avert the climate crisis and save millions of lives ahead of the global climate talks in Glasgow in November (UNFCCC COP26). Organizational endorsements such as NHAA were especially important to demonstrate a collective resolve to fight for the health of all people, especially the most vulnerable.
This came to our attention through the Climate and Health Alliance (CAHA) of which NHAA is a member. The CAHA is coalition of organisations in the health care sector who work together to create a powerful movement for climate action and sustainable healthcare in Australia.
