AIMA Interprofessional Communication Course – All Modules

As part of our commitment to fostering excellence in professional practice, it is our pleasure to offer this course – Interprofessional Communication for Complementary Medicine Health Care Practitioners – to our NHAA members, free of charge.

This evidence-based course was originally developed by the Australian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA) and includes contributions from respected experts in the field, including Associate Professor Joanna Harnett BHSc, MHSc (Complementary Medicine, PhD, and Emeritus Professor Stephen P. Myers.  The course explores the foundations of effective, collaborative communication within healthcare teams, with particular relevance to Naturopaths and Herbalists working with integrative or multi-disciplinary settings.

We believe that strong interprofessional communication skills are essential for delivering better client outcomes and strengthening the role of complementary medicine practitioners within the broader health system.

We encourage you to engage with the material through the lens of your own clinical and professional experience, and consider how these strategies can enhance your practice and collaborations.
